Over the coming re-enactment season we hope to compile here a number of digitial movie clips that give some idea of the fighting techniques and battlefield drill manoeuvres that Comitatus practice.  Watch the clips by clicking on the links, Real Player will come up automatically. Constantine Service

York Minster 25th July, 2006 - a community commemoration of Constantine the Great's accession to the throne in 306. Members of Comitatus flanked the procession through York, led by the Archbishop of York. Video taken by 11-yr old Bradley Elliott (hence looking up all the time!)

Late Roman Cavalry

On 27/28 August 2006 Comitatus put five Late Roman cavalrymen and 16 Late Roman infantry into the field for combined operations at Bridlington, East Yorkshire. This meant the poor guys on the ground becoming moving targets! Unfortunately the video quality is long range and poor quality.
